Over-18s

The coach house is open to people aged 18 and over. The front page asks you to confirm your age before you go further, but an untruthful answer gains you nothing: the check that counts takes place at the coach house door, with identification in hand, on every visit.

No gambling happens on this website

These pages describe a guesthouse and the building behind it. They offer no games, take no stakes, hold no account, accept no deposit and move no money, so nothing done here can win or lose anything. Gaming takes place at 6 Dinham, in the coach house.

Accuracy

Hours, rooms and descriptions are kept current, and they are still sometimes wrong: supper is off because the cook is away, a room is out for a week, the path is closed while the wall is repointed. Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance, and no page creates a contract. A booking exists once we have confirmed it by telephone or email, on the terms given then.

Our material

Text, drawings, photographs and the arrangement of them belong to the house or are used with permission. Read them, print a page, link to it. Do not republish them, copy them elsewhere, or use them to train a model, without written permission.

Conduct in the house

Staff may refuse service, refuse entry at the coach house, or ask a guest to leave, where someone is drunk, abusive, unable to produce identification, or spoiling the house for others. In the gaming room the decision of whoever is working the floor stands at the time. Raise any disagreement with the owners afterwards, away from the table.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be reachable, and it may be taken down for maintenance without notice.

Liability

We are liable for what the law does not permit us to exclude, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and we do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer. Beyond that we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, such as a journey made on the strength of an hour listed here that had changed.

Governing law

The law of England and Wales governs this site and these terms, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring a case there.
